INVITATION FOR BIDS
Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism
Foreign-Trade Zone – International Trade Resource Center, Mauka Renovation

Pursuant to the Hawaii Public Procurement Code, Chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Chapter 3-122, Hawaii Administrative Rules, the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism’s (DBEDT) Foreign-Trade Zone No. 9 (FTZ) is soliciting bids. Services under Solicitation No. IFB-13-001-FTZ is to provide construction work for the Foreign-Trade Zone International Trade Resource Center, Mauka Renovation Project in accordance with all terms and provisions of this solicitation.

Sealed Bids shall be received up to 11:00 a.m., Hawaii Standard Time (HST) on March 25, 2013 in the Hawaii Foreign-Trade Zone No. 9 Business Offices, 521 Ala Moana Boulevard, Suite 101, Honolulu, HI 96813.

Bid documents are available on CD and may be obtained from the Hawaii Foreign-Trade Zone Business Offices at the address described above between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for State holidays. All potential bidders must register with the Hawaii Foreign-Trade Zone Business Office. The contact number for this bid is: 808-586-2510.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., HST, FEBRUARY 28, 2013 to be held in conference room 202 at FTZ No. 9, 521 Ala Moana Blvd., Pier 2, Honolulu, Hawaii. The meeting is not mandatory, but we strongly encourage interested bidders to attend. All costs incurred by the attendee at this conference shall be borne by the attendee.

All bids shall comply with the General Conditions (AG-008 Rev. 4/15/2009) and the Hawaii Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) General Conditions for Construction, 1999 Edition and all applicable amendments, and must be submitted on DBEDT proposal forms. Bidders are encouraged to carefully read the entire bid document.
