COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST II, #603678. This position is based in the Castle-Kahuku Complexes in the Windward District of Oahu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPEIRIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in communication or journalism which included coursework in public relations and social psychology. Four years of responsible professional work experience in communication, journalism, and/or public relations, of which one year shall have been in an educational program, agency or system. Combined training/experience, and substitutions may also qualify. EOSR-7 salary range.

SALARY RANGE: EOSR-7 $77,069 TO $109,099. DOE certificated employees will be placed on the salary range in accordance with Department regulations. As applicable, all others will be placed on the first step of $77,067 at the EOSR-7 level. Please be advised that there is a salary adjustment in effect. This salary adjustment is based on a contract agreement between (HGEA) and the State of Hawaii BOE and is not reflected on the current salary ranges above.
