EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST II – SCIENCE, #60024. This position is based in the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Student Support in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in education with specialization in a subject field appropriate to the area or areas of assignment. Six years of responsible professional work experience in education of which four years shall have been in teaching and two years in curriculum or program planning, as appropriate. EOSR-7 salary range.

SCHOOL LIBRARY SERVICES SPECIALIST II, #69973. This position is based in the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Student Support in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in education with specialization in educational communications and technology, or a master’s degree in library studies with specialization in school library media including coursework in audio-visual services. Six (6) years of responsible professional work experience in education of which four (4) years shall have been in teaching and/or school librarianship and two (2) years in school library program planning and development. Combined training/experience, and substitutions may also qualify. EOSR-7 salary range.

EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST II, #76280. This position is based in the Professional Development & Educational Research Institute in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in education with specialization in a subject field appropriate to the area or areas of assignment. Six years of responsible professional work experience in education of which four years shall have been in teaching and two years in curriculum or program planning, as appropriate. EOSR-7 salary range.

TEST DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST II, #79287. This position is based in the Systems Accountability Office in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in education with-specialization in educational psychology, or with specialization in any other field of education, which included coursework in research and statistics in education and measurement and evaluation. Six years of responsible professional work experience in education, of which four years shall have been in teaching, and two years in educational testing and measurements. Combined training/experience, and substitutions may also qualify. EOSR-7 salary range.

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST II, #603243. This position is based in the Office of the Superintendent in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPEIRIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in communication or journalism which included coursework in public relations and social psychology. Four years of responsible professional work experience in communication, journalism, and/or public relations, of which one year shall have been in an educational program, agency or system. Combined training/experience, and substitutions may also qualify. EOSR-7 salary range.

PERSONNEL SPECIALIST II – EVALUATION SYSTEMS, #603676. This position is based in the Office of Human Resources in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPEIRIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with specialization in human resource management, or with specialization in management which included coursework in personnel administration and industrial relations. Four years of responsible professional work experience in one or more specialized areas of human resource management, of which one year shall have been in an education program, agency, or system. Combined training/experience, and substitutions may also qualify. EOSR-7 salary range.

EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST II – SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT GRANT, #603677. This position is based in the Office of the Superintendent in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in education with specialization in a subject field appropriate to the area or areas of assignment. Six years of responsible professional work experience in education of which four years shall have been in teaching and two years in curriculum or program planning, as appropriate. EOSR-7 salary range.

SALARY RANGE: EOSR-7 $77,069 TO $109,099. DOE certificated employees will be placed on the salary range in accordance with Department regulations. As applicable, all others will be placed on the first step of $77,067 at the EOSR-7 level. Please be advised that there is a salary adjustment in effect. This salary adjustment is based on a contract agreement between (HGEA) and the State of Hawaii BOE and is not reflected on the current salary ranges above.
