State of Hawaii, Department of Health TOBACCO SALES CONTROL COORDINATOR
This exempt, part-time position will have responsibility for planning and coordinating activities related to the State’s compliance with the Synar Amendment and state laws prohibiting the sale of tobacco products to minors. Activities include contract development and management, regular interaction with government agencies, maintaining information and records, and reporting outcomes and progress. Preferred requirement: Graduation from an accredited college or university with degree in public health, law enforcement, or related discipline; and/or experience in tobacco control programming; and knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations regarding sale of tobacco products to minors; valid Hawaii driver’s license.
