NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LAND USE
WITHIN THE CONSERVATION DISTRICT
The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), State of Hawai’i, pursuant to Chapter 183C, Hawai’i Revised Statutes (HRS), will hold a public hearing in Kahului, Maui on:
Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 6 pm
Maui Waena Intermediate School Cafeteria at 795 Onehee Avenue
to receive testimony on Conservation District Use Application (CDUA) MA-3633 for the Stable Roads Beach Groins Project located on submerged land of Wailuku, Maui offshore of TMKs: (2) 33-8-002:71, 74, 77 & 78. A copy of the CDUA and the draft Environmental Assessment are available for inspection at: The Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands, located at the Kalanimoku Building Room 131, 1151 Punchbowl Street in Honolulu, at the Kahului State Library and at the DLNR-Maui District Land Office (54 High St., Room 101). The draft Environmental Assessment was published in the OEQC Environmental Notice on 10/08/2012 that is available on line at http://hawaii.gov/health/environmental/oeqc/index.html.
Any person may testify or present information on the application. Disabled individuals planning to attend the hearing are asked to contact Tiger Mills of the DLNR’s Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands at (808) 587-0377 at least five days in advance of the public hearing to indicate if they have special needs which require accommodation.
