NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of two separate public hearings to be held by the Hawaii Community Development Authority (“HCDA”), State of Hawaii, pertaining to §15-217-80, Hawaii Administrative Rules (“HAR”):

or as soon thereafter as those interested may be heard to consider the following item:
Public hearings to review development proposals. The HCDA is holding separate public hearings to review the project development proposals in response to HCDA’s solicitation for development proposals for a mixed-use transit-oriented development project (RFP No.: HCDA 02-2012). The nature of the November 20, 2012 public hearing is to allow the following conceptual proposals by developers to be presented to the Authority who will provide the general public with the opportunity to present oral and/or written testimony.

The nature of the December 13, 2012 public hearing is to accept additional oral and/or written testimony from the general public on the above-listed development proposals prior to decision-making by the Authority for the selection of a developer.
Copies of the development proposal are available for inspection during regular business hours at the office of the HCDA, 461 Cooke Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, or will be mailed to anyone who requests a copy after payment has been made for copying and postage costs. To request a copy of the proposals or submit written comments or testimony, please contact the HCDA on or before the date of the public hearing. Persons who intend to present oral testimony on any of the above-listed proposals shall sign-up at the beginning of each public hearing. Persons who intend to submit written testimony shall submit 30 copies of their statements on or before the date of the public hearing. Pursuant to §15-219-28, HAR, public comment or testimony may be limited to three minutes per speaker and speakers may be subject to questioning by the members of the Authority or by any other representative of the Authority.
