EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST II, #60051 and #79329. These positions are based in the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Student Support in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in education with specialization in a subject field appropriate to the area or areas of assignment. Six years of responsible professional work experience in education of which four years shall have been in teaching and two years in curriculum or program planning, as appropriate. EOSR-7 salary range.
PROCUREMENT & DISTRIBUTION SPECIALIST II, #66354. This position is based in the Office of School Facilities & Support Services in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in any field of business administration which included coursework in accounting, management, and decision sciences. Four years of responsible professional work experience in accounting, procurement, risk management, auditing, or budgeting of which one year shall have been in an education program, agency or system. Combined training/experience, and substitutions may also qualify. EOSR-7 salary range.
PERSONNEL SPECIALIST II – INVESTIGATOR, #603661 and #603662. These positions are based in the Office of Human Resources in Honolulu. REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with specialization in human resource management, or with specialization in management which included coursework in personnel administration and industrial relations. Four years of responsible professional work experience in one or more specialized areas of human resource management, of which one year shall have been in an education program, agency, or system. Combined training/experience, and substitutions may also qualify. EOSR-7 salary range.
SALARY RANGE: EOSR-7 $77,069 TO $109,099. Department of Education certificated employees will be placed on the salary range in accordance with Department regulations. As applicable, all others will be placed on the first step of $77,067 at the EOSR-7 level. Please be advised that there is a salary adjustment in effect. This salary adjustment is based on a contract agreement between (HGEA) and the State of Hawaii BOE and is not reflected on the current salary ranges above.
