GENERAL OFFICE CLERK
CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU
The Honolulu City Council is seeking a pleasant and proficient person to fill a non-civil service vacancy. Some examples of duties are: greeting guests and taking phone messages in the reception room; processing accounts payable transactions; maintaining records and filing; purchasing office supplies; working harmoniously with others; and performing other tasks as needed.
Qualifications are: 1) a minimum three years of general office work experience in which two years shall have been in account recordkeeping, 2) graduation from an accredited college or university with courses in business, 3) experience with a computerized accounting system, 4) knowledge of general office practices and procedures, 5) experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, and 6) possession of a valid Hawaii State driver’s license.
Salary amounts are subject to furlough/paycut.
