Description: Responsible for the clerical support of the Juvenile Justice Information System program. Duties include typing, serving as telephone and walk-in receptionist, maintaining files, making travel arrangements, composing and routing correspondence, and taking minutes at committee meetings.
Requirements: High school diploma. Six months of basic clerical experience which demonstrated knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and arithmetic; ability to read and understand oral and written instructions; ability to speak and write simply and directly; and ability to compare words and numbers quickly and accurately and one year of specialized clerical experience which involved the performance of a variety of clerical tasks and demonstrated knowledge of office practices and procedures; ability to carry out procedures in clerical work systems, and ability to operate various kinds of office equipment and technologies.
Salary: $33,900 annually.
