STATE OF HAWAII DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST II – EMPOWERED LEARNING – HAWAII DISTRICT. POSITION NO. 76102. This position is located in the Hawaii district on Hawaii island. DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST II – SPECIAL SERVICES – HONOLULU DISTRICT. POSITION NO. 79895. This position is located in the Honolulu District on the island of Oahu. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in education with specialization in one or more subject matters appropriate to the areas of assignment. Six (6) years of responsible work experience in education of which four (4) years shall have been in teaching, and two (2) years in curriculum and/or special program services. SALARY RANGE: EOSR-7, $77,069 to $109,099. Department of Education certificated employees will be placed on the salary range in accordance with Department regulations. All others will be placed on the first step of the salary range which is $77,069.
