The State Office of Community Services (OCS) is soliciting public comment on the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) State Plan for Federal Fiscal Years 2009 & 2010. The CSBG program is a federally funded program that provides for the delivery of a range of services that addresses the needs of low-income individuals and families and seeks to ameliorate the causes and conditions of poverty. CSBG services and activities are operated statewide by designated Community Action Agencies located in each county. The public is invited to provide comment on the proposed use and distribution of CSBG ARRA funds as described in the proposed CSBG ARRA State Plan.

The proposed CSBG ARRA State Plan will be available for review Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the following statewide locations:
