SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Ecosystem (NEPA) Manager is responsible for the Ecosystem Management Program for the Hawaii Army National Guard Environmental Program. This includes air, land, water, and noise pollution prevention to include the monitoring of all construction, field training, and operational activities for environmental compliance. The incumbent must be knowledgeable in the preparation of related environmental documentation and in all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Must be able to lift and relocate objects weighing up to 25lbs unassisted.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Master’s degree from an accredited university in environmental science, zoology, botany, ecology, conservation, biology, natural resources management, public health, engineering or related field.
Experience: Two years experience in leadership or coordination position. Minimum one year experience in environmental compliance with detailed knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
