The Department of Health will receive written comments and hold public hearings on proposed changes to Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR), Chapter 11-44, Radiologic Technology Board, Radiologic Technology Rules.
The subjects and purposes of the proposed changes are to:
1. Modify definitions to reflect current practices in radiologic technology.
2. Reflect the latest changes to the Hawaii Revised Statutes.
3. Revise language and change style for clarity and consistency.
4. Reflect the latest policies of the Radiologic Technology Board.
Persons desiring to speak are asked to submit two copies of their testimony before or at the hearing. Written testimony will also be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on July 21, 2009 at the Indoor and Radiological Health Branch, Environmental Health Services Division, State Department of Health, 591 Ala Moana Boulevard, Room 133, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813.
