FEDERAL-AID HIGHWAY FUND PROJECT

Pursuant to the provisions of Policies and Procedures for the Procurement of Professional Services involving Federal-Aid Highway Funds, the County of Kauai hereby provides public notice to invite persons engaged in the professional services listed below to submit current statements of qualifications and expressions of interest for the fiscal year 2008 – 2009:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS – BUILDING DIVISION
LYDGATE PARK-KAPA’A BIKE/PEDESTRIAN PATH FEDERAL AID
PROJECT NO. CMAQ-0700(49):
The County of Kauai is seeking professional service to provide work for the Lydgate Park-Kapaa Bike/Pedestrian Path Federal-Aid Project No. CMAQ-0700(49). Professional services to provide construction management for the Lydgate Park- Kapaa Bike/ Pedestrian Path. Work will include construction management and site inspections for compliance with construction contract documents for a FHWA and American Recovery Reinvestment Act funded project.
The Lydgate Park- Kapaa Bike/Pedestrian Path will be approximately 2 miles of 10-12 foot wide, boardwalk or 6-inch thick concrete bike/pedestrian path. The project starts at Wailua Beach and ends at Lihi Park with a spur from the K?hi’? Highway/Kawaihau Road intersection to Gore Park.
INTERESTED PARTIES MUST CONTACT THE FOLLOWING FOR AN INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS PACKET CONTAINING DETAILED PROJECT AND/OR SITE INFORMATION, THE SCOPE OF WORK, SPECIFIC INFORMATION THAT MUST BE CONTAINED IN THE CONSULTANTS RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION, AND THE EVALUATION FACTORS THAT WILL BE USED IN THE SELECTION PROCESS:
