Certificate of Need
The Agency has received the following certificate of need applications:
a. #08-24 for standard review from Hawaii Victoria Hospice Services Inc. for the establishment of Hospice Services at 15-1671 16th Street, Keaau, Hawaii, at a capital cost of $49,000.
b. #08-12 for standard review from B.C.P., Inc. dba Nursefinders of Maui, for the establishment of home health agency services at 2200 Main Street, #650, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, at a capital cost of $125,000.
The March 25, 2009 Statewide Health Coordinating Council has been re-scheduled to meet March 24, 2009, 11 am, at Cameron Center Auditorium, 99 Mahalani Street, Wailuku, Maui.
Certificate applications are reviewed according to the following criteria: relation to the state health services and facilities plan, need and accessibility, quality, cost and finances, relation to the existing health care system, and availability of resources.
