NOTICE OF PROPOSED SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR FAILURE TO PAY REAL PROPERTY TAXES DUE THEREON

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Director of Budget and Fiscal Services or his authorized representative will sell at public auction, each of the following described parcels
of real property, all situated within the City and County of Honolulu, State of Hawaii. Each such parcel is subject to a lien for real property taxes pursuant to the provisions
of Sections 8-5.1 through 8-5.9, inclusive, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu 1990, as amended. In addition, item #1,Tax Map Key 8-4-016-019-0000 is further subject to a
lien for unpaid Special Improvement District Assessments pursuant to Chapter 36, Article 3, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu 1990, as amended. Each parcel will be sold
to the highest bidder for (1) cash, (2) certified check or cashier’s check made payable to the “CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU” and drawn on a bank in the State of
Hawaii, or (3) wire transfer arranged prior to the date of sale by the interested bidder with the City and County of Honolulu. All charges for the wire transfer are to be paid
by the bidder. Public auction is to be held at the City and County of Honolulu, Mission Memorial Auditorium, 550 South King Street, Honolulu, Hawaii on Tuesday, May 5,
2009 at 9:00 a.m. The entire amount bid is to be paid in full to the City and County of Honolulu at the time of the sale. Persons bidding at the auction as representatives
or agents of others will be required to present duly notarized documents showing such authorization to bid on behalf of such parties as they represent.
With respect to each parcel of property, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the owners and persons assessed the real property taxes thereon, and to all persons having or
claiming to have any right, title or interest therein, that unless the taxes due thereon, including all interest, penalties, cost, expenses and charges, are paid in full prior to
the time of the scheduled sale, the property will be sold in fee simple as noticed herein, free and clear of all liens. All of the properties are offered “AS IS” and without any
warranties as to physical conditions.
The taxpayer may redeem the property sold by payment to the purchaser at the sale, within one (1) year from the date of the sale, of the amount paid by the purchaser,
together with all costs and expenses which the purchaser was required to pay, including the fee for recording the deed, and in addition thereto, interest on such amount
at the rate of twelve percent (12%) a year.
