EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANTS (ESG) AND
HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS (HOPWA) PROGRAMS
In accordance with the requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regarding the Consolidated Plan, the City and County of Honolulu hereby provides a list of projects being proposed for the City’s Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2010 (July 1, 2009-June 30, 2010). The City’s Consolidated Plan contains the identified housing and community development needs and a long-range strategic plan to achieve those needs. The annual Action Plan contains the projects the City will undertake in the upcoming year to address needs identified in the Consolidated Plan. The proposed projects in this, the City’s 15th Year Action Plan are as follows:
The City has identified additional CDBG and HOME funds for Fiscal Year 2010, increasing the total amount available to fund additional projects. The funding of the following additional projects and the identification of the following alternate CDBG projects are being proposed:

All comments received by the deadline will be taken under advisement in the preparation of the City’s Final Fifteenth (15th) Year Action Plan.
Copies of the Proposed Fifteenth (15th) Year Action Plan are available for public review at the Municipal Reference Library, City Hall Annex, 558 South King Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, or on the City’s website at: http://www.honolulu.gov/budget/cdbg.htm.
Upon approval of the City’s Final Fifteeth (15th) Year Action Plan by the City Council, the Plan will be submitted to HUD on or about May 15, 2009.
