NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED LAND USE
WITHIN THE CONSERVATION DISTRICT

The State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources, pursuant to Chapter 183C, Hawaii Revised Statutes, will hold a Public Hearing in Hawaii to receive testimony on the following:
Conservation District Use Application (CDUA) HA-3496
& Lease for Marine Waters
Hawaii Oceanic Technology, Inc. Aquaculture Project, Offshore Waters of Malae Point, North Kohala, Island of Hawaii
A copy of the application and the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) is available for inspection at the following state libraries (Kailua-Kona State Library, Hilo State Library, Bond State Library, Thelma-Parker State Library, Naalehu State Library, Kahului State Library, Molokai State Library, Lanai State Library, Kauai State Library, Kaimuki State Library, Kaneohe State Library, Pearl City State Library, Hawaii State Library), the Department of Land and Natural Resource’s offices – Hawaii District Land Office, 75 Aupuni Street, Room 204, Hilo, Hawaii, 96720, and Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands, Kalanimoku Building, Room 131, 1151 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96809.
Any person may testify or present information on the application. If you have a legal interest that may be adversely affected by the application, you may have the right to request an administrative contested case hearing. However, you must make the request either orally or in writing by the close of this public hearing and file a written petition for a contested case hearing within 10 days after the date of this public hearing. If you do not make such a request, or fail to file a timely written petition with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, you may be precluded from obtaining a contested case hearing and judicial review. See Chapter 13-1 Hawaii Administrative Rules of the Department of Land and Natural Resources and Chapter 91 Hawaii Revised Statutes.
