BID FORMS for IFB No. 09-0240, Telecommunications System Upgrade, Windward Community College, will be available from and received in the OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT AND REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT (OPRPM), UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII, 1400 LOWER CAMPUS ROAD, ROOM 15, HONOLULU, HAWAII 96822.

Due to conditions at the site that may not be clearly identified in technical specifications and plans, it is highly recommended that all bidders attend a pre-bid conference/job site walk-through at 10:00 a.m., February 3, 2009 at Windward Community College, Hale Akoakoa Room 107/109, 45-720 Kea’ahala Road, Kaneohe, Hawaii.

Requests for Substitution/Clarification must be submitted to the Technical Representative, Gordon Man, FAX (808) 956-0865, no later than 4:00 p.m., February 9, 2009.

Bids must be submitted no later than 2:30 p.m., February 23, 2009.
Bids received after the due time and date(s) fixed above will not be considered.

The project in general consists of providing engineering/technical services for and the execution of furnishing, delivery, installation, commissioning, and cutover of a new telecommunications system with VoIP (wired & wireless) to replace all functionalities of the two existing telecommunications systems; executing Phase II Cutover Plan with SIP Trunks and 7-digit dialing plan (with least cost routing) to Windward Community College, Maui Community College and/or other campuses; for two years provide technical support, maintenance services and warranty of new equipment furnished; and also the removal and disposal of the existing telecommunications system components & structures that are no longer needed by the University, including any related work necessary to complete the project, as called for in the Technical Specifications.

To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii contractor’s license C-13 or C-15. BIDS FROM CONTRACTORS NOT LICENSED IN THE STATE OF HAWAII WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
