Certificate of Need
The Agency has received certificate of need application #08-17 for standard review from Kuakini Medical Center for the acquisition of a PET/CT scanner at a capital cost of $2,154,100.
The Certificate of Need Review Panel meeting previously scheduled for January 15, 2009 has been rescheduled to January 29, 2009, 9:00 am, 235 South Beretania Street (State Office Tower/ Leiopapa A Kamehameha), Room 204, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Certificate applications are reviewed according to the following criteria: relation to the state health services and facilities plan, need and accessibility, quality, cost and finances, relation to the existing health care system, and availability of resources.
