The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) is requesting proposals from interested contractors to construct single-family houses in the Kaumana area, also known as Hilo Scattered Lots, Kaumana Subdivision, in South Hilo, Island of Hawaii

This development consist of 10 single family residential lots which are scattered through out the Kaumana area.

Kaumana Scattered Lots is a request for proposals to construct ten (10) single-family turnkey houses.

On Tuesday, December 30, 2008, an RFP CD may be obtained from DHHL at Hale Kalanianaole, 91-5420 Kapolei Parkway, Kapolei, Hawaii 96707 or East Hawaii District Office, 160 Baker Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii 96720. The RFP may also be examined at the locations indicated above.

Prospective Offerors are encouraged to attend an informational conference at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at East Hawaii District Offfice, 160 Baker Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii 96720 regarding this solicitation.

A written Notice of Intent to Submit a Proposal must be submitted and received by DHHL, Land Development Division at the DHHL, Hale Kalanianaole, 91-5420 Kapolei Parkway, Kapolei, Hawaii 96707, no later than Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Submittal of Notice of Intent to Submit a Proposal via facsimile at (808) 620-9299 is acceptable.

All proposals must be in conformance with this RFP. Proposals for the Project will be received at DHHL, Hale Kalanianaole, 91-5420 Kapolei Parkway, Kapolei, Hawaii 96707 or East Hawaii District Office, 160 Baker Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii 96720 until 4:00 p.m., on Friday, January 30, 2009.

DHHL reserves the right to cancel this request for proposals and reject any and all proposals when it is in the best interest of the DHHL.
