NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED LAND USE
WITHIN THE CONSERVATION DISTRICT

PLACE: Wailuku Community Center, 395 Waena Place, Wailuku, Island of Maui, 96793

The State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources, pursuant to Chapter 183C, Hawaii Revised Statutes, will hold a Public Hearing in Maui, to receive testimony on the following:

Conservation District Use Application (CDUA) MA-3492
The Nature Conservancy’s proposed Kapunakea Preserve project, Lahaina, Island of Maui, Subject Parcels TMK’s: (2) 4-4-007:001, 003, 007, and 008

A copy of the application is available for inspection at the Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands, Department of Land and Natural Resources in Honolulu at the Kalanimoku Building, 1151 Punchbowl Street, Room 131, Honolulu, Hawaii, and at the Lahaina Public Library, Island of Maui.

Any person may testify or present information on the application. If you have a legal interest that may be adversely affected by the application, you may have the right to request an administrative contested case hearing. However, you must make the request either orally or in writing by the close of this public hearing and file a written petition for a contested case hearing within 10 days after the date of this public hearing. If you do not make such a request, or fail to file a timely written petition with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, you may be precluded from obtaining a contested case hearing and judicial review. See Chapter 13-1 Hawaii Administrative Rules of the Department of Land and Natural Resources and Chapter 91 Hawaii Revised Statutes.
