IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2008-9 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE XII OF SECTION 15-10.1(b) ESTABLISHING ONE-WAY STREETS; SCHEDULE XIII OF SECTION 15-11.2(c) ESTABLISHING YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XVI OF SECTION 15-13.4(a) ESTABLISHING RESERVED PARKING STALLS; SCHEDULE XIX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(6) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–AM/PM PEAKS; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIII OF SECTION 15-14.5(b) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED LOADING/UNLOADING; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVI OF SECTION 15-16.1 ESTABLISHING TIME LIMIT PARKING; SCHEDULE XXX OF SECTION 15-22.1(a) ESTABLISHING PARKING METER ZONES; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Hihimanu St., between Kalanianaole Hwy. and Laumilo St.”

b. By amending Schedule XII of Sec. 15-10.1(b) establishing one-way streets by amending thereto the following item:

Kalia Rd., Ewa direction, between Lewers St. and Saratoga Rd.; to read:

“Kalia Rd., Ewa direction, between Beach Walk and Saratoga Rd.”

c. By amending Schedule XIII of Sec. 15-11.2(c) establishing yield right-of-way by adding thereto the following item:

“Auwaiolimu St.-Nehoa St. Traffic on Nehoa St. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic on Auwaiolimu St.”

d. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Kalia Rd-Lewers St. Traffic on Kalia Rd. in the Koko Head direction shall stop before entering Kalia Rd.”

“Lewers St-Kalia Rd. Traffic on Lewers St. shall stop before entering Kalia Rd.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Beach Walk-Helumoa Rd. Traffic on Beach Walk shall stop before entering Helumoa Rd.”

e. By amending Schedule XVI of Sec. 15-13.4(a) establishing reserved parking stalls by adding thereto the following item:

“Kilani Ave., northern (Waialua) side, distance 76’ easterly (Koolau) direction from a point 94’ easterly of the eastern curb prolongation of Cane St., for authorized Honolulu Police vehicles only, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, except State holidays.”

f. By amending Schedule XIX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(6) establishing tow zones–AM/PM peak by deleting therefrom the following items:

“Kalakaua Ave., both sides between King St. and Ala Wai Blvd.”

“Kalakaua Ave., Ewa side, between Beretania St. and King St.”

g. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hours in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Beach Walk, Ewa side, from a point 465’ makai from the makai curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave. to Kalia Rd.”

“Beach Walk, Koko Head side, from a point 550’ makai from the makai curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave. to Kalia Rd. except for the portion covered in Schedule XXIV.”

“Kalakaua Ave., Ewa side, between South Beretania and South King Sts.”

“Lewers St., Ewa side, distance 104’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave.”

“Lewers St., Ewa side, distance 144’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave. to Kalia Rd.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Kalakaua Ave., both sides, between Kapiolani Blvd. and Ala Wai Blvd; to read:

“Kalakaua Ave., both sides, between South King St. and Ala Wai Blvd.”

Kalia Rd., mauka side, between Beach Walk and Saratoga Rd; to read:

“Kalia Rd., mauka side, between Lewers St. and Saratoga Rd.”

Lewers St., Koko Head side, from Kalia Rd. to 80’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave.; to read:

3. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Lewers St., Ewa side, distance 50’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Helumoa Rd.”

h. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

Koko Head Ave., Ewa side, between Waialae and Harding Aves., 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday except Sundays and State holidays.; to read:

“Koko Head Ave., Ewa side, between Waialae and Mahina Aves., 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, Monday to Saturday, except Sundays and State holidays.”

m. By amending Schedule XXX of Sec. 15-22.1(a) establishing parking meter zones in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Koko Head Ave., Ewa side, between Waialae and Harding Aves.”

“Koko Head Ave., Koko Head side, between Harding and Mahina Aves.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Koko Head Ave., both sides, between Harding Ave. and a point 200’ mauka of Waialae Ave.”

n. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following item:

“Lime St., Koko Head bound traffic must turn right onto McCully St.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
