Public Notice to Request for Information (RFI)
To Provide Various Services to Victims of Domestic Abuse
RFI Number: DCS-DV-2008

The City and County of Honolulu (City), the Department of Community Services (DCS), Community Based Development Division, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to seek information from qualified organizations in preparation for the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) to select qualified organizations to provide the following services for victims of domestic abuse: support, crisis intervention, safety planning, risk assessment, representation in court, and education and participation in community efforts.

The information received through this RFI will assist DCS in preparing the RFP. The RFI solicits information on the gaps in the current array of domestic abuse services in the City and County of Honolulu, the groups that are underserved, and the most effective way to provide the aforementioned services to victims of domestic abuse.

The DCS reserves the right to incorporate or not incorporate any recommendations presented in response to this request in its Request for Proposals and may engage in informal discussions, but neither the DCS nor interested parties responding have any obligation under the RFI. Please note that participation is optional, and it is not required to respond to any subsequent DCS RFP.

This RFI does not commit the DCS to solicit or award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of information submitted. The DCS reserves the right to accept, reject, or utilize without obligation, any information submitted in response to this request.
