NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Department of the Attorney General (AG) will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed adoption of Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR) to Chapter 846-10.5, Hawaii Revised Statutes, entitled “Fees”.
The purpose of these administrative rules is to update fees and waivers for the Criminal History Record Check program. These rules will be applicable to persons and
programs who request Criminal History Record Check services.
A public hearing will be held at the following location:
Department of Labor and Industrial Relations
Keelikolani Building, Rooms 310/313
1:00 p.m.
November 14, 2008
Interested persons may submit views or concerns orally or in writing on the proposed rules to the Department of the Attorney General, Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center, prior to or at the time of hearing. All written and oral submissions regarding the proposed rules will be fully considered. Comments or testimony will be restricted solely to the proposed rules and not the benefits/disadvantages of the underlying program. Persons wishing to submit written testimony are strongly encouraged to submit five copies of their testimony to the Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center, 465 South King Street, Room 101, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 or by fax to (808) 587-3109 or by email to hcjdc@hcjdc.hawaii.gov by 4:00 p.m., November 7, 2008.
A copy of the proposed rules will be mailed to any interested person who requests a copy. If you would like to pick up a copy of the rules, you may do so by coming to the HCJDC between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
