The State Department of Budget and Finance Unclaimed Property Outreach Program is
conducting a seminar to inform and assist business entities on issues relating to
unclaimed property as prescribed by Hawaii Revised Statutes 523A. The seminar
will consist of an overview of the holder reporting process and also present information
on the upcoming change in unclaimed property law.
The seminar will be held at the State Capitol auditorium on Tuesday, October 21, 2008
from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Seating is
limited and note this is a free public service to provide direct assistance in learning the
fundamental responsibilities of all holders of unclaimed property. Please register by
