THREE POSITIONS IN THE OFFICE OF FISCAL SERVICES:
1. BUDGET SPECIALIST III, Position No. 68262
2. FISCAL SPECIALIST III, Position No. 69252
3. FISCAL SPECIALIST II, Position No. 69290
These positions are located on the island of Oahu.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Budget Specialist III – graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration which included coursework in accounting, decision sciences and management. Seven (7) years of responsible work experience in budgeting, accounting or auditing of which three (3) years shall have been in an education program, agency or system. 2. Fiscal Specialist III – graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting or with a major in any other field of business administration which included at least twelve (12) semester hours of credit in accounting courses. Seven (7) years of responsible professional work experience in accounting, auditing or budgeting of which three (3) years shall have been in an education program, agency or system. 3. Fiscal Specialist II – graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting or in any other field of business administration which included at least twelve (12) semester hours of credit in accounting courses. Four (4) years of responsible professional work experience in accounting, auditing, or budgeting, of which one (1) year shall have been in an education program, agency or system. SALARY RANGE: SR-8 $80,350 to $113,774 for Budget Specialist III, Position No. 68262 and Fiscal Specialist III, Position No. 69252. $77,069 to $109,099 for Fiscal Specialist II, Position No. 69290. Department of Education certificated employees will be placed on the salary range in accordance with Department regulations. All others will be placed on the first step of the salary range which is $80,350 for Budget Specialist III and Fiscal Specialist III; and $77,069 for Fiscal Specialist II.
