Notice is hereby given that the Department of Land and Natural Resources, State of Hawaii, will hold the second Ad Hoc Committee meeting with respect to the parking plan for the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor at Jefferson Elementary School, 324 Kapahulu Avenue in Waikiki, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2008.

The Ad Hoc Committee formation and meetings are proposed to allow the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation to more effectively manage motor vehicle parking within the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor. User groups of the Ad Hoc committee will provide input and ideas to DLNR while the department develops a long-term parking management plan for the facility.

The meeting location is disability accessible. If special needs are required, i.e., large print, taped materials, sign language interpreter, etc., please call The Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation at 587-1970 at least one week prior to the designated date and time of the public meeting.
