This recruitment is to fill a vacancy in the Adult and Community Care Services Branch (ACCSB) of our Social Services Division. As Branch Administrator, the incumbent will be responsible for providing overall planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of all policies and procedures for ACCS programs in accordance with Federal and State laws and regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 12 semester credit hours in such courses as psychology, sociology, social welfare, social work or other related social science.
Four and one-half years of responsible work experience in a program of direct social welfare which has required the application of knowledge of social work methods and techniques in carrying out the responsibilities for providing social welfare services, plus
One year of work experience in supervising others in social work, and
Work experience which involved active participation in a major responsibility for the development, management, execution, and coordination of policies, programs and/or activities.
