Notice is hereby given that the Department of Land and Natural Resources, State of Hawaii, will hold an Ad Hoc Committee meeting with respect to the parking plan at the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor at Jefferson Elementary School from 6 pm to 8 pm on August 20, 2008.

The Ad Hoc Committee formation and meetings are proposed to allow the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation to more effectively manage motor vehicle parking within the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor and allow the public to assist in the process. Public input will be the focus, allowing all user groups of the state small boat harbor and related facilities to provide input and ideas.

All interested parties are invited to attend and to present their views on the proposed parking plan, either orally or in writing. Written statements may be submitted at the public meeting or to the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation at 333 Queen St., Suite 300, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, phone 587-1970.

The meeting locations are disability accessible. If special needs are required, i.e., large print, taped materials, sign language interpreter, etc., please call The Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation at 587-1970 at least one week prior to the designated date and time of the public meeting.
