TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2008-7 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE XII OF SECTION 15-10.1(b) ESTABLISHING ONE-WAY STREETS; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XVII OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(4) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–AM PEAK; SCHEDULE XVIII OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(5) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–PM PEAK; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXX OF SECTION 15-22.1(a) ESTABLISHING PARKING METER ZONES.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by deleting therefrom the following item:

“Waikele Rd., between Farrington Hwy. and its Koko Head dead end.”

b. By amending Schedule XII of Sec. 15-10.1(b) establishing one-way streets by deleting therefrom the following item:

“Nohonani St., makai direction, between Ala Wai Blvd. and Kuhio Ave.”

c. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following item:

“Aupuni St-Kealia Dr. Traffic on Aupuni St. shall stop before entering Kealia Dr.”

d. By amending Schedule XVII of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(4) establishing tow zones–AM Peak in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following item:

“Kalihi St., Ewa side, from a point 75’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of
Lehua St. to a point 85’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Ema Pl., 6:30-8:30 a.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Kalihi St., Ewa side, distance 85’ makai direction, commencing from the makai curb prolongation of Ema Pl.”

e. By amending Schedule XVIII of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(5) establishing tow zones–PM Peak by adding thereto the following item:

“Kalihi St., Koko Head side, from Likelike Hwy. to a point 60’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Nobrega St., 3:30-5:30 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays.”

f. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Aumaka Pl., for its entire length and including its turnaround area.”

“Halekipa Pl., makai side, distance 150’ Ewa direction from the makai/Ewa curb prolongation of Waiomao Rd.”

“Hoohaku St., Koko Head side, distance 71’ mauka direction form the mauka curb prolongation of Hoohoa Pl. to and including its turnaround area.”

“Hoohaku St., Ewa side, from its terminus to a point 38’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Hoohoa Pl.”

“Ilalo St., mauka side, distance 48’ Ewa direction from a point 302’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Keawe St.”

“Nohonani St., Koko Head side, distance 62’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Ala Wai Blvd.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Bernice St., mauka side, distance approximately 385’ Ewa direction beginning from Ewa property line of 1524 Bernice St., during 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m., school days only; to read:

“Bernice St., mauka side, distance 300’ Ewa direction from a point 420’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Kapalama Ave., 7:00-8:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:00 p.m., school days only.”

halekipa Pl., within its turnaround area; to read:

“Halekipa Pl., mauka side, for its entire length and including its turnaround area.”

Makaikai St., makai side, distance 115’ Waianae direction from a point 210’ Waianae of the Waianae curb prolongation of Kaapeha St.; to read:

“Makaikai St., makai side, distance 168’ Waianae direction from a point 189’ Waianae of the Waianae curb prolongation of Kaapeha St.”

3. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Ala Mahamoe St., Koko Head (eastern) side, distance 131’ makai (southerly) direction from the makai (southerly) curb prolongation of Jarrett White Rd.”

“Hoohaku St., Koko Head side, between the mauka property line of 1561 Hoohaku St. and Hoohaku St. terminus.”

“Kalihi St., Ewa side, from a point 75’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Lehua St. to Ema Pl., 6:30-8:30 a.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays.”

“Kalihi St., Koko Head side, from Likelike Hwy. to a point 60’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Nobrega St., 3:30-5:30 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays.”

g. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto subsection (a) passenger loading zones the following item:

“Nohonani St., Koko Head side, distance 14’ makai direction from a point 210’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Ala Wai Blvd.”

2. By amending thereto subsection (a) passenger loading zones the following item:

Nahua St., Koko Head side, distance 42’ mauka direction from point 13’ mauka of mauka border of makai driveway Royal Prince Apt. at 415 Nahua St.; to read:

“Nahua St., Koko Head side, distance 29’ mauka direction from a point 147’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kuhio Ave.”

3. By deleting therefrom subsection (a) passenger loading zones the following item:

“Nohonani St., Koko Head side, distance 52’ makai direction from a point 13’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Ala Wai Blvd.”

4. By amending thereto subsection (b) freight loading zones the following item:

Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 53’ mauka direction from a point 191’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd., Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays; to read:

“Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 53’ mauka direction from a point 191’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd., 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday except Sunday and State holidays.”

h. By amending Schedule XXX of Sec. 15-22.1(a) establishing parking meter zones by deleting therefrom the following item:

“Ilalo St., both sides, between Ahui St. and Ala Moana Blvd.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
