Announces 15 Upcoming Classes:

Noncandidate Committee
Public Financing for Candidates
All classes are open to the Public. There is no fee.
The Campaign Spending Commission announces classes for the 2008 elections for Candidates and Candidate Committees, Noncandidate Committees, and Public Financing for Candidates. All classes will include updates from Act 200 which was signed June 20, 2007 and any relevant 2008 legislative updates that have been signed into law.
¢ The Candidate and Candidate Committee class provides a general overview of campaign finance law review including registration, reporting, contributions, and expenditures.
¢ The Noncandidate Committee class will provide information on who is a noncandidate committee, as well as a general overview of registration, reporting, contributions, and ex penditures.
¢ The Public Financing of Campaigns class will provide information on who qualifies, how you qualify, expenditure limits, reporting requirements, and what you may use public funds for.
The times, locations, and dates for the classes are as follows:
8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. CANDIDATE and CANDIDATE COMMITTEES
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. PUBLIC FINANCING for CANDIDATES
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. NONCANDIDATE COMMITTEES
