NOTICE TO BIDDERS

WRITTEN QUOTATION FORMS for RCUH Project No. CC-05-1260R, KOKEA TRAINING CENTER CLASSROOM, Honolulu Community College, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii with plans, will be available from Hawaii Planz Administrators, Inc., 2979B Koapaka Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819 and received in the PHYSICAL FACILITIES PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION OFFICE, 2010 East West Road (delivery address, back side of UH Federal Credit Union house), Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii 96822.

Due to site conditions that may not be clearly identified in the technical specifications and plans, it is highly recommended that all bidders attend a pre-bid conference/job site walk through at 9:00am, July 15, 2008 at Honolulu Community College, Building 8827, room 111.

Requests for Substitution/Clarification must be submitted to the Technical Representative no later than 4:00pm, July 22, 2008.

Bids must be submitted no later than 2:30pm, August 5, 2008.
Quotations received after the due time and date(s) fixed above will not be considered.

Project is intended to be awarded on or about August 14, 2008.

The project consists of the demolition of three (3) apartment buildings, removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials, and modifications to concrete floor slabs and other
appurtenant work necessary for a complete project. To be eligible to bid, bidders must
possess a valid State of Hawai’i contractor’s license A or B or C-24.
