TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2008-6 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE XVII OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(4) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–AM PEAK; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIII OF SECTION 15-14.5(b) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED LOADING/UNLOADING; SCHEDULE XXVIII OF SECTION 15-17.2(d) ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED PEDESTRIANS CROSSING ROADWAYS.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Waikele Rd., between Farrington Hwy. and its Koko Head dead end.”

b. By amending Schedule XVII of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(4) establishing tow zones–AM Peak by adding thereto the following item:

“East Manoa Rd., mauka (even-numbered) side, distance 210’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Doris Pl.”

c. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Hokuahiahi St., northern (Wahiawa) side, distance 37’ easterly (Koolau) direction from the eastern (Koolau) curb prolongation of Keahilele St.”

“Iliee Pl., for its entire length and including its turnaround area.”

“Kamakahala St., mauka (eastern) side, distance 30’ Kahuku (northerly) direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Keakula St.”

“Kamakahala St., mauka (eastern) side, distance 180’ Kahuku (northerly) direction from a point 95’ Kaena Pt. (south) of the Kaena Pt. curb prolongation of Oliana St.”

“Kamakahala St., mauka (eastern) side, distance 30’ Kaena Pt. (westerly) direction from the Kaena Pt. curb prolongation of Wanini St.”

“Kamakahala St., mauka (eastern) side, distance 40’ Kahuku direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Wanini St.”

“Keakula St., western side, distance 35’ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Oliana St.”

“Keakula St., western side, distance 365’ southerly direction from a point 235’ south of the southern curb prolongation of Oliana St.”

Keakula St., eastern side, distance 35’ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Oliana St.”

“Oliana Pl., mauka (southern) side, distance 35’ Kahuku (easterly) direction from the Kahuku (northern) curb prolongation of Oliana St.”

“Oliana Pl., makai (northern) side, distance 35’ Kahuku (easterly) direction from the Kahuku (northern) curb prolongation of Oliana St.”

“Oliana St., Kaena Pt. (western) side, distance 330’ mauka (easterly) direction from the makai curb prolongation of Oliana Pl.”

“Oliana St., Kaena Pt. (western) side, distance 45’ makai (westerly) direction from the makai (western) curb prolongation of Kolu Pl.”

“Oliana St., Kaena Pt., (southern) side, distance 30’ mauka (easterly) direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Kolu Pl.”

“Waikele Rd., makai side, distance 465’ Koko Head direction from a point 405’ Koko Head of the makai/Waianae curb prolongation of Farrington Hwy., 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily.”

“Waikele Rd., makai side, distance 175’ Koko Head direction from a point 230’ Koko Head of the makai/Waianae curb prolongation of Farrington Hwy.”

“Waikele Rd., within the undefined 100’ length turnaround area which commences from a point approximately 1125’ Koko Head of the makai/Waianae curb prolongation of Farrington Hwy.”

“Wanini St., mauka (eastern) side, distance 300’ Kahuku (northerly) direction from a point 315’ Kahuku of the Kahuku curb prolongation of Keakula St.”

“Wanini St., mauka (eastern) side, distance 30’ Kahuku (northerly) direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Wanini Pl.”

“Wanini St., mauka (eastern) side, distance 50’ Kaena Pt. (southerly) direction from the Kaena Pt. curb prolongation of Kamakahala St.”

“Wanini St., makai (western) side, distance 50’ Kaena Pt. (southerly) direction from the Kaena Pt. curb prolongation of Kamakahala St.”

“Wanini St., makai (western) side, distance 230’ Kaena Pt. (southerly) direction from a point 135’ Kaena Pt. of the Kaena Pt. curb prolongation of Kamakahala St.”

2. By amending thereto the following item:

East Manoa Rd., makai side, distance 62’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Oahu Ave.; to read:

“East Manoa Rd., makai (odd-numbered) side, distance 207’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Oahu Ave.”

d. By amending Schedule XXIII of Sec. 15-14.5(b) establishing prohibited loading/unloading by amending thereto the following item:

Kalaeloa Blvd., both sides, between Malakole Rd. and its makai terminus; to read:

“Kalaeloa Blvd., both sides, between Malakole Rd. and Olai St.”

e. By amending Schedule XXVIII of Sec. 15-17.2(d) establishing restricted pedestrians crossing roadways by adding thereto the following item:

“Manoa Rd., the unmarked crosswalk across Manoa Rd. on the mauka side of the intersection of Manoa Rd. and Nehoa St.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
