IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2008-5 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXXVII OF SECTION 15-7.2(i) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–10 MPH; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Dole Rd., for its entire length.”

b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Waiomea St., for its entire length.”

c. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by deleting therefrom the following item:

“Ala Ilima St. No left turn from Ala Ilima St. into Ala Napunani St., makai direction between 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., school days only.”

d. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Auwaiolimu St., Ewa side, distance 181’ makai direction from a point 75’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Anianiku St.”

“Haleiwa Rd., makai side, from the Kahuku (eastern) boundary line of Haleiwa Elementary School to Kamani Ln.”

“Hawaii Kai Dr., mauka side,between Ahukini and Kealahou Sts.”

“Hawaii Kai Dr., makai side, from a point 412’ Makapuu direction of the Makapuu curb prolongation of Ahukini St. to Kealahou St.”

“Kamau Pl., makai (northern) side, distance 60’ Kahuku (easterly) direction
from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Keaahala Rd.”

“Makee Rd., Koko Head side, distance 57’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Kuhio Ave.”

“Paiwa St., Mililani (northern) side, distance 235’ Waianae (westerly) direction from the Waianae (western) curb prolongation of Kahuanui St.”

“Palama St., Ewa side, distance 81’ makai direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Panalaau St.”

“Palama St., Koko Head side, distance 115’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Panalaau St.”

“Puumalu Pl., makai side, distance 41’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Paula Dr.”

“Puumalu Pl., mauka side, for its entire length and including its turnaround area.”

“Puunui Ave., Koko Head side, distance 56’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Kauai St.”

“South St., Koko Head side, distance 60’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Queen St.”

“South St., Koko Head side, distance 120’ mauka direction from a point 127’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Queen St.”

e. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing curb loading zones by amending thereto subsection (a) passenger loading zone the following item:

Auwaiolimu St., in indentation area along frontage of Lincoln School starting from entrance into said school and extending for distance 300’ mauka thereof, 7:00 to
8:30 a.m. and 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. school days; to read:

“Auwaiolimu St., Ewa side, distance 320’ mauka direction from a point 75’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Anianiku St., 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. school days.”

f. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following item:

“South St., Koko Head side, distance 125’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kawaiahao St.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Hawaii Kai Dr., mauka side, distance 150’ Ewa direction from a point 106’ Ewa of the Ewa property line of 7841 Hawaii Kai Dr.; to read:

“Hawaii Kai Dr., mauka side, distance 150’ Ewa direction from the Makapuu curb prolongation of Ahukini St.”

Liliha St., Ewa side, distance 150’ makai direction from a point 128’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Wyllie St.; to read:

“Liliha St., Ewa side, distance 155’ makai direction from a point 109’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Wyllie St.”

g. By amending Schedule XXXVII of Sec. 15-7.2(i) establishing speed limit–10 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Akala Ln., for its entire length.”

h. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following item:

“Ala Ilima St., right turn only from Ala Ilima St. into Ala Napunani St., makai direction between 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., school days only.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
