We are recruiting for a Planner VI position with the Land Use Division, Office of Planning (OP). This is a tremendous opportunity to get involved in land use, growth and development issues in the State of Hawaii. OP is responsible for preparing the State’s position on land use matters before the State Land Use Commission.

OP also works on policy issues such as important agricultural lands, rural lands, infrastructure, and the direction and location of growth. On a day to day basis, this position gains first hand knowledge and experience with pressing and critical land use issues facing Hawaii from a local, regional, island-wide and statewide perspective.
