RADIO TECHNICIAN I

Must be able to climb 250 ft. transmission line at 5,000 ft. elevation

Starting salary: $3,163.00/month

Minimum Requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school, supplemented by technical training in electronics and radio communications, and three years of technical work experience involving the installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of radio communications or related equipment, (examples are: two-way mobile radios, microwave equipment – cables, dishes, transmission lines, microwave terminals)and a valid driver’s license (submit a copy of your driver’s license).

One year of experience shall have involved technical work in support of a traffic engineering function specifically related to the position’s function relative to the design, CAD drafting, inspection, installation, monitoring, adjusting, and maintaining of traffic signs, markings, intersections, lighting, and/or signal controllers, and a valid driver’s license (submit a copy of your driver’s license).
