Pursuant to Section 323D-44.5, Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Agency has received a request for a public information meeting on certificate of need application #07-32A from Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital for the establishment of an extremity MRI service at a capital cost of $395,000.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at the Waimea Neighborhood Center, 4556 Makeke Road, Waimea, Kauai, Hawaii.
Certificate applications are reviewed according to the following criteria: relation to the state health services and facilities plan, need and accessibility, quality, cost and finances, relation to the existing health care system, and availability of resources.
