NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Department of Land and Natural Resources, State of Hawaii, will host a series of three public information meetings to gather input on a public parking plan for the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor. All meetings will be held in the Jefferson School Cafeteria, 324 Kapahulu Avenue, Honolulu, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as follows:
First Meeting: Wednesday, April 9, 2008;
Second Meeting: Wednesday, April 16, 2008;
Third Meeting: Wednesday, April 30, 2008.
Interested parties are invited to attend, present ideas and discuss possible parking scenarios intended to resolve some or all of the parking conflicts documented for this area. Suggestions for parking scenarios may be presented at the meetings, mailed in advance to:

or e-mailed to Clifford.G.Inn@hawaii.gov up to Tuesday, April 15, 2008 for discussion at the public information meetings. Results of these meetings will be presented to the Board of Land and Natural Resources (BLNR) for consideration and possible adoption. No public parking plan will be implemented without prior consent of the BLNR.
The meeting locations are disability accessible. If special needs are required, i.e., large print, taped materials, sign language interpreter, etc., call Clifford Inn at (808) 587-1972 at least one week prior to the designated date and time of the public information meetings.
