PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice to medical providers, labor unions, and private individuals. The Hawaii Department of Health, Kauai District Health Office intends to solicit assistance from the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training Program. The assistance will provide medically underserved Kauai residents with access to no-cost dental, vision, and health screenings, examinations, and services. The proposed assistance will take place at multiple locations on Kauai, including public schools, non-profit organizations, and other community sites in 2019. Medical providers, labor unions, or private individuals who have questions or wish to voice opposition to military assistance for this project may contact Dr. Janet Berreman, Kauai District Health Officer, at 808-241-3614 or janet.berreman@doh.hawaii.gov no later than 30 days after publication of this notice. Failure to file comments within the timeframe noted will be considered an effective waiver of objections to military assistance for this project.
