NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT

Pursuant to 24 CFR Part 91, notice is given that a draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for Program Year 2016-2017 is available for review and comment. The CAPER is an annual review of the progress made in carrying out the Strategic and Action Plan components of the State of Hawaii’s Consolidated Plan, which concentrates on the Counties of Hawaii, Kauai and Maui. It includes an assessment of the State’s performance in meeting its affordable and supportive housing objectives under the HOME Investment Partnerships, National Housing Trust Fund, Emergency Solutions Grant, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS programs.

Copies of the draft CAPER are available at regional libraries and on the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation’s (HHFDC) website at http://hawaii.gov/dbedt/hhfdc. Written comments on the draft CAPER may be submitted to HHFDC at the above address or faxed to (808) 587-0600 no later than 4:30 p.m. on August 26, 2017. All comments will be considered in preparing the final CAPER.
