Notice of Funding Availability
National Housing Trust Fund Program

The City and County of Honolulu, through its Department of Community Services is soliciting applications from qualified nonprofit agencies for the National Housing Trust Fund Program. Approximately $2,700,000 will be made available for qualified projects in the form of grants. National Housing Trust Fund grants may be used for the acquisition, rehabilitation, and construction of affordable housing for households earning 30 percent or less of Honolulu’s Median Family Income.

Interested parties may obtain an application packet from the Department of Community Services, 715 South King Street, Suite 200, Honolulu, Hawaii. Agencies may also request an electronic version of the application via an email request to Megan Wharton at megan.wharton@honolulu.gov.

Applications must be submitted to the Department of Community Services, 715 South King Street, Suite 311, Honolulu Hawaii by 4:00 PM on August 9, 2017. Questions regarding the National Housing Trust Fund may be directed to Keith Ishida at 768-7750 or kishida@honolulu.gov.
