Bill 22 (Draft 2): Amends Section 25-8-13 (Puako-’Anaeho’omalu Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawai’i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), by Changing the District Classification from Agricultural – Five Acres (A-5a) to Industrial – Commercial Mixed – 20,000 Square Feet (MCX-20) at Waikoloa, South Kohala, Hawai?i, Covered by TMK: 6-8-001:058 (Applicant: RB2 Investors, LLC) (Area: approx. 1.756 acres). AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Kanuha, Lee Loy, O’Hara, Poindexter, Richards, Ruggles, and Acting Chair Eoff – 9; NOES: None; ABSENT: None; EXCUSED: None.

Bill 23: Amends Ordinance No. 16-72, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawai’i for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2017. Appropriates revenues in the Fund Balance Reserved for Liquor Control account ($20,000); and appropriates $10,000 to the Public Programs account, and $10,000 to the Travel/Conferences account. AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Kanuha, Lee Loy, O’Hara, Poindexter, Richards, and Acting Chair Eoff – 8; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council Member Ruggles – 1; EXCUSED: None.

Bill 27: Amends Ordinance No. 16-72, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawai’i for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2017. Increases revenues in the Transfer from General Fund account ($5,000); and appropriates the same to the Catholic Charities of Hawai’i account. AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Kanuha, Lee Loy, O’Hara, Poindexter, Richards, and Acting Chair Eoff – 8; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council Member Ruggles – 1; EXCUSED: None.

Bill 28: Amends Ordinance No. 16-72, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawai’i for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2017, Relating to the Transfer of Funds to the Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Fund. Increases revenues in the Real Property Tax Interest account ($85,500); and appropriates $76,000 to the Transfer to Public Access/Open Space Preservation Fund account, and $9,500 to the Transfer to Public Access/Open Space Preservation Maintenance Fund account. AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Kanuha, Lee Loy, O’Hara, Poindexter, Richards, and Acting Chair Eoff – 8; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council Member Ruggles – 1; EXCUSED: None.
