NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) of Hawaii and the Department of Human Services, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), will hold a public hearing to receive comments on Vocational Rehabilitation Services proposed changes in VR Policy and updates in VR Services Manual due to the passage of Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). The public will be able to comment on the following topics:
1. Order of Selection
2. Applicable Terms
3. Pre-Employment Transition Services
4. Supported Employment
5. Sub-Minimum Wage
6. Transportation Policy

All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and to state their views relative to the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Policy changes and VR Services Manual updates either orally or in writing. Should written testimony be presented, one (1) copy shall be made available to the presiding officer at the public hearing or to the VR Administrator, 600 Kapiolani Blvd., Rm. 305, Honolulu, HI 96813, by Thursday, April 10, 2017.
