NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MOLOKAI PLANNING COMMISSION

The Molokai Planning Commission for the County of Maui hereby gives notice that it will conduct a hearing on March 22, 2017, commencing at 11:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as is practicable at the Kalanianaole Hall, 605 Maunaloa Highway, Kalamaula, Molokai, on the following:

SPECIAL MANAGEMENT AREA USE PERMIT

1. MR. STANLEY A. WADA requesting a Special Management Area Use Permit for the Wada Commercial Building and Hotel, a commercial, retail and hotel building, in the B-CT Country Town Business District at 56 Ala Malama Street, TMK: 5-3-002: 073, Kaunakakai, Island of Molokai. The subject public hearing will be conducted in accordance with the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Maui County Code, and the Rules of the Molokai Planning Commission. Information pertaining to the subject application are on file at the Maui County Department of Planning, 2200 Main Street, Suite 315, Wailuku, Maui; the Office of the County Administrator, Mitchell Pauole Center, Kaunakakai, Molokai; and the Molokai Public Library, Kaunakakai, Molokai.

All testimony regarding the subject applications may be filed prior to the date of the hearing by providing 15 copies of said written testimony to the Department of Planning or may be presented at the time of the hearing.

Petitions to intervene shall be in conformity with Section 12-301-25 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure for the Molokai Planning Commission and shall be filed with the Commission and served upon the applicant no less than ten (10) daysbefore the first public hearing date. Filing of all documents to the Commission is c/o the Maui County Department of Planning, 2200 Main Street, Suite 315, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793 and P.O. Box 526, Kaunakakai, Hawaii 96748. The deadline to file a timely Petition to Intervene is March 8, 2017.
