TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2016-9 TO AMEND SCHEDULE I OF SECTION 15-6.2(a) ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNALS (CITY); SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XIII OF SECTION 15-11.2(c) ESTABLISHING YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XVI OF SECTION 15-13.4(a) ESTABLISHING RESERVED PARKING STALLS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVIII OF SECTION 15-17.2(d) ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED PEDESTRIANS CROSSING ROADWAYS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule I of Sec. 15-6.2(a) establishing traffic signals (City) in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following item:
“California Ave-Uuku St.”
2. By deleting therefrom the following item:
“Kailua Rd-S. Kalaheo Ave.”
b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following item:
“Kuahelani Ave., for its entire length.”
c. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following items:
“Hoolulu St. No left turn from Hoolulu St. into Kapahulu Ave. in the makai direction.”
“S. Kalaheo Ave. No right turn from S. Kalaheo Ave. onto Kailua Rd., adjacent to the Kalapawai Triangle turn in the mauka direction.”
d. By amending Schedule XIII of Sec. 15-11.2(c) by adding thereto the following item:
“Kailua Rd-S. Kalaheo Ave. Traffic from the right turn channelized lane on Kailua Rd. shall yield the right-of- way before entering S. Kalaheo Ave.”
e. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Ainoni St-N. Kalaheo Ave. Traffic on Ainoni St. shall stop before entering N. Kalaheo Ave.”
“Aouli Pl-Kuahelani Ave. Traffic on Aouli Pl. shall stop before entering Kuahelani Ave.”

f. By amending Schedule XVI of Sec. 15-13.4(a) establishing reserved parking stalls by adding thereto the following item:
“Uluohia St., southern side, distance 100’ westerly direction from a point 30’ west of the western curb prolongation of Kamaaha Ave., reserved for authorized road test examiners only, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays.”
g. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Hoolulu St., makai side, distance 50’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Kapahulu Ave.”
“Kokokahi Pl., odd-numbered side, distance 225’ Kahuku-makai direction from a point 1450’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Malulani St., 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.”
“Kokokahi Pl., even-numbered side, distance 100’ Kahuku direction from a point 1475’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Malulani St., 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.”
“Kuahelani Ave., northern side, distance 75’ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Lanikuhana Ave. (southern intersection).”
“Kuahelani Ave., eastern side, between Hokuala St. (northern intersection) and Lanikuhana Ave. (northern intersection).”
“Kuahelani Ave., western side, distance 60’ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Lanikuhana Ave. (northern intersection).”
“Makaikai St., northern side, distance 100’ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Meheula Parkway.”

h. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by deleting therefrom the following item:
“Walina St., Ewa side, distance 60’ mauka direction from a point 130’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kuhio Ave. for loading and unloading of passengers from tour buses.”
i. By amending Schedule XXVIII of Sec. 15-17.2(d) establishing restricted pedestrians crossing roadways by adding thereto the following item:
“N. KalaheoAve., the unmarked crosswalk across N. Kalaheo Ave. on the Kahuku side of the intersection of N. Kalaheo Ave. and Kuulei Rd.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
