NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu under Chapter 21, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, as amended, for the following application at the date and the time specified or soon thereafter:

REQUEST: INTERIM PLANNED DEVELOPMENT – TRANSIT PERMIT to allow the development of a 250-foot-high mixed use tower with 163 multi- family dwelling units, roof garden, community room, ground floor eating and drinking establishments, outdoor dining areas, seven levels of parking including two basement levels for a total of about 332 parking spaces, 209 bicycle parking spaces, publically-accessible ground-level improvements, and various right-of-way improvements in the BMX-3 Community Business Mixed Use District within a quarter mile of the future transit station in the Ala Moana neighborhood.

Maps showing the general location and boundaries of the area under consideration are on file at the Department of Planning and Permitting, Permit and Zoning Records Access, First Floor, Frank F. Fasi Municipal Building, 650 South King Street, and are available to the public for inspection during office hours, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For assistance, please call the department’s Zoning Regulations & Permits Branch at 768-8023.

All interested persons are invited to attend. Those persons desiring to testify may register prior to the public hearing at the public hearing site and are encouraged to submit one copy of their testimony in writing.

Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit testimony. Written testimony may be faxed (768-6743) or mailed (650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813) to the department prior to the hearing and will be considered in the evaluation of the request.
