Traffic Schedule No. 2016-3
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2016-3 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XIX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(6) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–AM/PM PEAK; SCHEDULE XXI OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(8) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–SPECIFIED TIMES; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVII OF SECTION 15-17.1 ESTABLISHING CROSSWALKS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
“Palolo Ave., for its entire length.”
“Ulupuni St. for its entire length.”
b. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following item:
“Ulupuni St-Kalanianaole Hwy. Traffic on Ulupuni St. shall stop before entering Kalanianaole Hwy.”
c. By amending Schedule XIX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(6) establishing tow zones–AM/PM Peaks by deleting therefrom the following item:
“Kinau St., makai side, between Ward Ave. and Victoria St.”
d. By amending Schedule XXI of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(8) establishing tow zones–specified times in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Kinau St., makai side, between Ward Ave. and Victoria St., 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State Holidays and except portions listed under Schedules 22 and 24.”
“Koohoo Pl., (mauka/Kahuku leg), makai side, for its entire length, 6:00 to 9:00 a.m., Tuesdays and Fridays only.”
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Koohoo Pl., makai side, distance 110’ Makapuu direction from a point 250’ Makapuu of the makai curb prolongation of Aalapapa Dr., 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., Tuesdays and Fridays only; to read:
“Koohoo Pl., makai side, distance 355’ Makapuu direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Aalapapa Dr., 6:00 to 9:00 a.m., Tuesdays and Fridays only.”
Koohoo Pl., makai side, distance 630’ Kahuku direction from the terminus of Koohoo Pl., 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., Tuesdays and Fridays only; to read:
“Koohoo Pl., makai side, distance 630’ Kahuku direction from the terminus of Koohoo Pl., 6:00 to 9:00 a.m., Tuesdays and Fridays only.”
Koohoo Pl., (mauka/Kahuku leg), mauka side, distance 68’ Kahuku direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Koohoo Pl., 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., Tuesdays and Fridays only; to read:
“Koohoo Pl., (mauka/Kahuku leg), mauka side, distance 68’ Kahuku direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Koohoo Pl., 6:00 to 9:00 a.m., Tuesdays and Fridays only.”
3. By deleting therefrom the following item:
“Koohoo Pl., makai side, distance 585’ Makapuu direction from a point 645’ Makapuu of the mauka curb prolongation of Aalapapa Dr., 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., Tuesdays and Fridays only.”
e. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following item:
“Kuamu St., northwestern side, between Kikaha and Uahanai Sts.”
2. By amending thereto the following items:
San Antonio Ave., even-numbered side, distance 90’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Lusitana St.; to read:
“San Antonio Ave., Koko Head (even-numbered) side, distance 90’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Lusitana St.”
Waimanu St., makai side, for a distance 110’ in the Ewa direction from the Ewa curbline prolongation of Piikoi St.; to read:
“Waimanu St., makai side, distance 143’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Piikoi St.”
f. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by amending thereto the following item:
Kamehameha IV Rd., Ewa side, distance 200’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Kilolani Pl.; to read:
“Kamehameha IV Rd., Ewa side, distance 200’ mauka direction from a point 30’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kilolani Pl.”
g. By amending Schedule XXVII of Sec. 15-17.1 establishing crosswalks by adding thereto the following item:
“Woodlawn Dr., 10’ wide, centerline approximately 1075’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Pamoa Rd. (fronting Manoa Public Library).”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
