NOTICE TO BIDDERS

SEALED TENDERS will be received up to and publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on October 16, 2015, in the Office of the Division of Purchasing, Building C, Mezzanine Level, Department of Finance and Administration, Oahu Transit Services, Inc., 811 Middle Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819 for the furnishing of GROUND MAINTENANCE SERVICES at the KALIHI-PALAMA BUS AND PARATRANSIT FACILITIES AND PEARL CITY BUS FACILITY for a twelve (12) month period, beginning December 1, 2015 and ending November 30, 2016 for Oahu Transit Services, Inc., Honolulu, Hawaii.
Oahu Transit Services, Inc. shall conduct non-mandatory site inspections of the areas to be maintained and explain the detailed work requirements.  Prospective bidders shall meet at:

  9:00 a.m., on October 8, 2015, at the Visitor’s Parking Lot, 811 Middle   Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819 for the on-site inspection at the Kalihi-  Palama Bus and Paratransit Facilities, followed by the on-site inspection at   the Pearl City Bus Facility, 1200 Waimano Home Road, Pearl City, Hawaii,  Transportation Building Lanai.

Before any prospective bidder shall be entitled to submit a bid, the bidder must comply with the provisions of Section 103-55, H.R.S., regulating wages, hours and working conditions of employees of Contractor supplying services to governmental agencies. Accordingly, a prospective bidder shall complete and submit a certification as required by the said Act.

Pursuant to Section 7, SUBMISSION OF BID, of the General Instructions to Bidders, copies of bids transmitted directly to OTS Purchasing Division via facsimile machine or e-mail shall not be acceptable.
