NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY
IN JUDICIAL OFFICE

The Judicial Selection Commission, State of Hawai’i, is accepting nominations and applications to fill an anticipated vacancy in the judicial office of Judge, Circuit Court of the First Circuit, State of Hawai’i. The Constitution of the State of Hawai’i requires that persons selected by the Commission be residents and citizens of the State of Hawai’i and of the United States, and licensed to practice law by the Hawai’i Supreme Court for a period of not less than ten years preceding nomination.
Anyone interested may nominate a person who meets the constitutional qualifications for appointment. Mail your nomination to the address below on or before Monday, June 22, 2009.
Applicants interested in applying for the judicial vacancy should submit a letter indicating their interest.
The Application for Judicial Office (JS-P-084) form is available on the Judiciary website at http://www.courts.state.hi.us, Judicial Selection Commission. Your completed application must be post-marked or delivered to the Commission on or before Monday, July 6, 2009 to:
